Self Portrait

I was pretty inspired by this guy Pascal Campion http://pascalcampion.blogspot.com/

He does Tadahiro Uesugi esque compositions but he doesn't try to make it look like it was done in gouache. the digital gouache thing is cool for Tadahiro, but has been abused by the animation industry lately. The thing that really attracted me though was how personal his work is. He really puts you in the moment, and after a few images you become very familiar with the characters who I believe are his family.

Anyways it inspired me to try to create how a moment felt for me when I was living in LA.
